Salut, pardon pour ma français. Je parle anglais et espagnol pero ma français est mauvais. J'ai duex mustangs 1967. Une est terminé et une est en construction. J'ai construit plusieurs mustangs. Ok, enough struggling through my French. I have been building mustangs for the last 16 or 17 years. The reason i signed up on the forum was both to practice my french, and i believe a car i built ended up in Paris. My street car has a Paxton supercharged 289 with a 5 speed transmisson, 4-wheel disc brakes, and integrated power steering. I am building the other one into a full race car to race the vintage Carrera Panamericana in Mexico. Here are some photos of both. Yes, I am currently building a race car from a 1967. Going to a trans am clone. Have you heard of the carrera panamericana? A French driver won this year in a 1953 studdabaker commander. I have more photos on my instagram at instagram.com/vintageraceworks.
Looking forward to meeting everyone and planning my next trip to France! :)

We are also looking forward meeting you and knowing more of your cars. Here in France almost any modification of a car is forbidden and you won't see many cars with such a deep remodeling as yours. Do you plan to race in the panamerica ?

The Historic C class is where all the mustangs run. They are limited to 5.0 liter or smaller engines, iron heads, 600cfm carb, original chassis, drivetrain, and suspension, 15x7 wheels, etc. I'm building the race car for this class. I have stock, reinforced shelby suspension and 4-wheel disc brakes (they do allow upgraded brakes), a 289, and toploader 4 speed.
:v: Bonjour Gikort, petit cours de français sans ironie : on dit son châssis, mon français, ma mustang LOL
Hi guy and welcomme on board rck
i went to Utah this summer for a motorcycle ride:very nice place to live :v:

Iron heads and 600cfm carb ? Do they allow roller camshaft and similar upgrades ? Electronic ignition ? Aluminium radiator ? Or should the engine of a '67 be what could be build in 1967 ?
Hi and welcome among us. rnr
Can you give us any info or photo about the Mustang that ended up in Paris? Maybe someone here knows about it.

They do allow roller cam, rockers, electronic ignition, etc., but limit the carb, wheel size, motor size, no alloy heads, body, suspension, and trans. The original class (50-55) limits everything except for the brakes.

This is how the car looked when I finished it in 2010:
