qui peux me dire, si la partie noir du capot des mach 1 de 1969 en sortie d'usine était soit: mat, satiné ou brillant ?
dans les rassemblements ou sur des photos il y en a pour tous les goûts ...
cette question dans le but de finir le mien.

Moi je dirai que c'était du satiné , vu qu'ils faisaient déjà l'intérieur du compartiment moteur et l'intérieur de l'habitacle , mais à confirmer par d'autres spécialistes

You if you are after the factory correct look to your car the the hood should painted Satin black after the hood and cowl where painted also make sure you paint the hood and cowl together so the black outs line up evenly on the cowl to the hood. There are correct stencils available.



Please note that you have to buff up the area around the edges of hood color that doesn't get painted hood black as it is an impossible task to buff out the shine on the color between the stripe and main hood black out. SEE ABOVE IMAGE.




If you aren't concerned about the factory finish then you can apply the black prior to the hood and cowl being clear coated. Now it doesn't matter if the black is low gloss it can be gloss black, but remember to scuff up the black paint and the whole hood prior to clear coat.

Oui, si Ford a proposé cette option, ce n'était pas seulement pour faire joli mais pour réduire les réflexions du soleil sur le capot pour le conducteur alors un noir brillant aurait un effet inverse au but recherché. Il faut que ce soit un noir satiné.
