Welcome. As long as you don't add four wheel drive, or stick a bow tie put-put in it, we will be constructive.

Doing said things would be a disgrace to anyone who's ever owned American Muscle. I vow to never even consider these things. I did however want to upgrade to a 2003 Cobra IRS, but the work and mods seem to be too much of a hassle. Then again I haven't looked that far into it...

Check out Total Control Products http://www.totalcontrolproducts.com/ I drove their 1967 Hardtop test mule several years back and was impressed. Also try Mustangs Plus http://www.mustangsplus.com/ They test the products they sell on the track.
There have been several pictures of 4WD Mustangs posted here so they do exist. I don't bother to ask why. A while back there was a guy on this forum that was putting a Mustang engine in a Mercedes. A bow tie made putt-putt in a Mustang would not be my first choice (nor any bow tie stuff) but the bow tie types have this "thing".

Cobra IRS is more fragile and heavier just so you know...
If you handling check out griggs suspension. Expensive but apparently can outhandle corvettes
