yea but it dont say if its a cleavland or a windsor do you know if they made a 351 that wasnt ethier one?

ok the cleveland part of the vin is 32 and windsor dont exist according to a plate decoding site. on the H, should be a 351 2v. are you trying to restore it inside and out bumper to bumper?

well i stand corrected. on the windsor part.

Popular options include the Mach 1 package which was only available as a fastback. The Mach 1 includes premium interior with highback bucket seats, full instrumentation including tach and clock, teakwood trim and Mach 1 identification. my bad yea im trying to fix it up but i might put a 5.0 motor in it, out of a 1992 lincoln town car. what do you think good or bad idea?

bad idea. for one, if it dont match up right with your tranny n such, like the specs n what not youll have more issues. you can upgrade but itll cost ya a pretty penny. it be like putting a pinto motor in say a chrysler it just wouldnt go. you can put certain engines in certain cars just like batteries for a kids toy. and may i suggest using virginia classic mustang if your doing a show quality resto. its what im using for mine

i got the transmision too and its a ford motor so it shouldent be as big of a deal as ur thinking

oh well then you should be fine. but if ya wanna put stock factory equip in, make sure the intake manifold says fomoco on it. w/ a autolite carb. to my knowledge, when you go before a judge for the car (if your making it show quality) they dont look at the block. you putting new paint on? or leaving it as is?

oh. well, if i were you, look real close for cracks bubbles and chips in the paint. im dealing with that issue on my 66. sadly. if there is bubbles n such theyre signs of rust setting in and id eliminate it asap. especially being in a gulf state (tx, al, fl, ga, mi)

yea im taking classes to be a helicopter mechanic and thats what we have been studying corrosion, its like cancer (it spreads rapidly and is hard to get rid of) but good luck man. do you have any pictures of your car?
