Hello,
I registered to this forum a long time ago but never had a chance to get involved due to being deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Well I'm home now and I'm finished with the car. She's a 69 Coupe painted 04 Cobra Silver with a gloss black Mach 1 hood. The powerplant is a 302 stroaked to a 347 attached to a Summit Racing C-4 with a 3,200 stall. My baby came with a 9" so I didn't have to do anything to the rear end except offset it about an inch on each side. I look foward to getting to know everyone and hopefully trade some pony tips.

Hey, welcome to the site.  You sound like you have just about every upgrade on that 69 covered, so just enjoy driving it.  This site is growing by leaps and bounds, so hang around and contribute.  Also, thanks for serving our country.  You guys are my heroes.

A hearty Bluejacket (former) welcome. With an ID like yours, I assume you're an airdale - but where. As to the 69, I like the color. I had a 69 Sportsroof back in 69 to 73, 351W 4V, 4 sp, black ext, red int. Mostly stock except for the Ram-Air setup I designed and made in welding school - graduation project. Hey, it worked.

What branch of the Canadian service were you in Theirry?  When I was in the Army stationed at Fort Richardson, Alaska back in the mid to late 60's, we trained with the Canadian army on field maneuvers.  Damn tough bunch of guys I might add.

My wife is the CO of a Canadian navy cadet unit but I was in the French army in Achern and Renchen in Germany. At that time (1985), a one year military service was mandatory in France so I can't take much credit for it :D It wasn't my choice to join but I had the best time of my life there.
