Hey Dog, welcome to the site.  I wish my French was as good as your English.  I remember the plymouth Dusters.  Keep in touch, and happy New Year.

I'm Canadian so I guess I'm supposed to be able to speak French. I do not though! Here's a bit of trivia for anyone on here though... I do speak Dutch fluently.

random reason really. my parents thought putting me in a saturday german school during grade 7 was a good idea so when I got to highschool for grade 8 I heard the french teacher was mean and since I'd already started German I took that. Can't speak that either though. I believe languages should be learned by speaking, not out of a textbook until you can speak them decently. I'm sure French would have made more sense, seeing as I do live in Canada and although I am almost completely Dutch, I have a little tiny bit of french in my background and my girlfriend is part french. She can't speak it really, but her grandmother can very well.

Thanks. I think realizing she really was gonna lose me made her realise she was lucky. I think she saw me starting to move on and was like oh crap.

My Grandparents moved from Marles Les Mines, France, (last name Pignon) in the early 1900's, but I could never could remember much.  Except "Bonne Annee" (kiss cheek) then "Bonne Sante" (other cheek)  ;D

And for STANG98 I'd say..."voulez vous couchez avec mois, c'est soir?"  "Mon amie" :o

My Grandpa would always say to me some french phrase - I only knew it meant "I'm gonna punch you in the nose!"
That's about all of my french translation I'm good for. :(
