Looks really clean for a 20 year old car.  Are those the original tail lights, or are those the European style?  I really like that color.

It looks very clean for a work in progress. What are the plans for the car?

i checked the lights there are not sequential  the inner lights reverse the middles signal and the outers are brake  i was a farm boy till about 3 years ago , my dad sold out when i started college, it is very clean most of the hard work has been done by the PO  i plan on getting a new front bumper cover and fenders as mine are dented and the covers ripped, the car was keyed and the PO had the door handles shaved but the drivers side is still visible where it was, so i will do some body work and paint it the winter.  i also plan to build a 342 for it in the more distant future. this car was kinda a graduation gift to myself after i got out of college plus for $1,700 i couldn't resist it

No those aren't the original tail lights.  Those are aftermarket similar to altezza tail lights.  The original tail lights look the ones in this picture.

Yeah, 3.55's are about as far as you can go to get anywhere near a decent gas mileage and a decent launch.  3.25's or so will get you into the decent town driving range.

You might try 3.08 gears, they give good response and good mileage for around town.

Check ebay, they usually have good deals on new stuff there.  You can get alot of parts from dealers there cheaper than ordering from the dealer out of the catalog.

thank you, i have had mixed reviews about the rims. they are not normally something i would buy but i think thy fit the car to and give it a good stance. right now i am trying to  choose a color to paint it or i might do it the same color with black racing stripes but im open to suggestions
