Sure Ford and other American auto companies have had their ups and downs, produced many great vehicles, Cudas, Yankos and Shelby's etc. All have had their not so good adventures as well, Pinto, Mustang II's, Vega's etc.. It is unfortunate that GM is now government owned but I do own a 07' Chev Dura Max pre-government motors and it holds it's own against any PU on the market, In MY OPINION the finest pick up today on the market. My point is and my OPINION: support American companies when at all possible !! I am a true classic GM fan, but as time has passed as mentioned in my last post, I now have a true appreciation for Mustangs, but that will never take away my appreciation for all American classics including Mopar, GM and Ford...Who knows, I may look for a classic Mopar for my next purchase. Yea,  a 1970 Cuda convertible would look great next to the Mustang in the shop.

You Are on the wrong forum to be pushing GM and Mopar.  This is a Mustang site.

I read the post.  You are leaning toward Mopar and GM to be the representative voice of American cars and trucks.  Not true.  Ford did not take the bailout money from the  gooberment, and still makes the best American automobile and trucks, far and away better quality from the Mopar and the GM products.  My F-150 is far and beyond a better truck than the Dodge and  Chevy, and I would never ever consider buying any truck other than a Ford, and that also includes the Toyota and the other foreign made trucks.  Not trying to argue here, just pointing out the fact that you are just as prejudiced with your GM products as I am with my Ford products.  Again, this is a Mustang site, and Mustangs are made by Ford.

You are correct this is a Ford site, I agree. It's a shame when someone cannot voice appreciation for all classic American automobiles... After all what country do we reside in.

You are admonished.  There is nothing wrong with expressing your opinion, but this is not a site where you can brag about anything but a Mustang.  This is a Mustang site,so get used to the idea.
