Topic: v6 to 5.0 swap

has anyone done a swap on a 99-04 v6 to a 5.0? im thinking about doing it because i can get a motor from a friend for about $100. i trying to find out what all i need to does this swap. anyone have and ideas?

I think it would really be a great idea. I have also been wondering whether I should change the v6 to v8 and the only thing that was stopping me was the lack of support. After all, the dealers here have already said that they could help me with getting the suitable motor for it and that they would do all the necessary fittings and all. Anyway, the motor costs $155 here. I hope you get it pretty cheap!
