1971 & 1972 Mustang Shelby Europa GT350 & GT500
« on: October 24, 2006, 05:48:39 PM »
Most people think the classic Mustang Shelby production ended with the 1970 Model year but did you know this is wrong?
While surfing I discovered that Carol Shelby offered 1971 and 1972 models for the European market for an order from a Belgium dealership.  Based on the 1971 1972 Mustang body style, only 14 of them were built and sold during the two years and only 9 of them are known today making them the rarest Shelby Mustangs.

That I didn't know and them would be some high dollar cars now.

It might be a good idea to make a Shelby clone out of a 1971 to 1973 Mustang too.

I don't know the value of these cars but with only 9 models known today I would say they are probably the most expensive Mustangs.
