CONFIGURATION/CONDITION:

The engine is date code correct C8FE-6015B (rare AKA tunnel port block) The block is VIN stamped ; but is not the correct VIN for the car. The engine had a complete rebuild in 2008 and run strong.
Major engine equipment, including carburetor, distributor, exhaust / intake manifolds, valve covers, air cleaner, rev limiter are factory original. The emission system (Smog) is a reproduction system from Semo Mustang.
It retains the snorkel and "S" tube and manifold heat shield.
The original cast iron exhaust manifolds connect into an OEM style 2 inch diameter replacement exhaust system.
Alternator, starter solenoid, voltage regulator are all concourse correct reproduction pieces.

DRIVELINE:

The bellhousing has a FoMoCo logo
The rear differential is the original 9 inch housing with staggered shocks.
The center section is the original nodular unit.

BODY:

Original sheet metal with exception of the rear quarter panels. Original undisturbed underbody and structural metal, except front floor pans. I have found no evidence of accident damage. All frame rails and aprons appear undisturbed, evidencing no buckles or straightened areas. The front fenders are original with their factory date codes and correct rolled wheel openings. Exterior panel fit, gaps and alignment are excellent.
The exterior trim plating and/or finishes are in excellent condition. Most of the trim are OEM Ford.
The exterior paint is new and excellent show quality with excellent overall smoothness and gloss. The underside floor pan have been painted red oxide primer and finish to a seamless quality finish.

INTERIOR:

The interior has been restored time ago and is in excellent condition. No cracks in dash pad, no tears in seats and no cut or modified interior panels. The plated rings around the dash instruments are bright. All accessories, gauges and interior lights are in working order. The last thing to do is the upholtery because it shows some wear.
The trunk contains a high quality reproduction mat in the proper speckled style, plus the correct space saver spare. The jack and handle are intact and secured by the original holdown hardware.

The car has been disassembled and restored in 2008 with the best of reproduction and OEM parts available. It is a Beautiful example of one of the most desirable Mustang's. The color combination along with the low production number (1628) make it truly a unique piece.
Couple that with all the Go Fast / Look Good  original options and it is a fine example of a Vintage Muscle Car.
