Why are you selling Ol Yeller? Do you have a new project?

It certainly seems to be in a great condition.

Yeah, Ol Yeller is in pristine condition.  I would drive it to New York from Texas in a heart beat.  However, she is not monetarily worth 20,000 USD.  Maybe 15 at a stretch, so I am not worrying about someone offering me 20K.  I just put her up for sale to get the section going.   ;D

If it was a fastback you would probably get that money and I don't understand why there is so much difference in value. Camaros and other mopar muscle cars never had a fastback version and the coupes sell for much more than the Mustang ones. What makes a basic Dodge Challenger more expensive than a basic Mustang coupe? Maybe some day you will get much more money than what you are asking now.

YEP... The fastbacks and verts are getting well over 20K in the same condition Ol' Yeller is in.  That's just the nature of the game.  Personally, I like my coupe better than a vert because I don't have to screw around with a raq top.  The fastbacks are OK, but I just don't see the hype.  My 65 coupe is not a muscle car, so cannot be compared with the Challenger and the Camaros of that era.  My 65 coupe is a Pony car, and not to be confused with Muscle cars of that era.

I personnaly have no interest in convertibles but I do like the look of the fastbacks.
Yes you have a pony car but the Challengers and Camaros are also pony cars and some of them where also muscle cars. A 65 Mustang Shelby GT350R would be a true muscle car and still a pony while a basic 6 cylinder Challenger would not a be a muscle car  ;D. Still the basic Challenger coupe would have more value than a Mustang coupe. Is it because they never offered a fastback Challenger? I love the mopar muscle or pony cars but I will never be interested to pay that extra money to own one.
Here is where I got my source: http://www.musclecarclub.com/musclecars/general/musclecars-definition.shtml

To me, only 1965-66 Mustangs can be classified as "Pony" cars.  A mustang is a horse, and therefore the term "Pony."  Where people come up with the term for AMX, etc. I don't know.  And also, to me, a muscle car is a big block fire breathing monster such as a 428 Cobra Jet King of the Road.  The GT350 was a weak assed engine compared to a real muscle car.

I agree with you, a muscle car should be with a big block engine but the vast majority of people first think about the Ford Mustang when they hear the words muscle cars.  I don't think there is a true definition of this term and we all have our own  :)

Well, generally among the Mustang owners, the Muscle cars didn't come into being until 1968 when the 351 Cleveland small and 390-428 big block engines were introduced.  You can't say a 289 or 302 small block Ford engine is a muscle car.
