I wrecked it about a month and a half ago the brakes went out on a dead end road.....good thing i wasnt goin to fast....

How bad did it tear up the car?

i hit a tree goin down a dead end road going about thirty it hit the passenger side and smashed the fender and front bumper and valence. the frame was fine it was just cosmetic, i just have to replace what was broken. it didnt hurt me physically but as you can imagine i was very unhappy with myself at not checking the fluids before i drove it.  Its all live and learn and its better i hit it going thirty instead of sixty down a country road...

dam by the way around how much does it cost to restore a car?

it depends on how far you want to go, and how much needs to be replaced/fixed. it also depends on if you're doing a restoration or a resto-mod so it can vary a lot.

You can start with about 5 grand, and go to anywhere around 50 grand.  It just depends on what needs to be restored.  The body work is the most expensive.

Most expensive and the most time consuming. Mechanical is pretty cheap in comparison to body work

also depends on who you have the work done buy and who you get the parts from. recently i had to get a new sending unit for my tank and i went to autozone n wanted 60 bucks for the whole damn thing n i asked if i could just get the lil brass cylinder i was told no. i went to the local ford dealer n got my part for 8 bucks  on occasion a auto dealer for whatever make your fixin up will have some parts here n there but its rare. i just got lucky

Yes, you did get lucky.  I usually buy from a Mustang catalog, but going to a Ford dealer is an option that we sometimes forget to check.

course last time i called bout a part the lady thought i was crazy. all i want is the stupid hinge spring for my door (it no longer stays open)
