GUESS WHAT!!!!
« on: July 08, 2008, 07:18:56 PM »
Some of you may recall me talking about my absolute favorite mustang.  Which is a 1970 Boss 429.  Well we haven't won the lottery and I haven't had any rich family pass away, so I don't see myself ever being able to own one.  BUT...........Xnutt bought me this since I can't have exactly what I want.  She needs some work, but I don't care!!!!!  It's my favorite year mustang and that's all I've ever wanted as far as cars go.

:o Another classic? It looks scary on the photo but it might not be too bad. I cheated and went to check the other photos in your Photobucket gallery and the rust doesn't seem bad, especially for a convertible. Post more photos or a link for others to give their opinion  ;)
So with Xnutt you both have 3 projects? I hope you have enough room to store them?  :D

After Soaring's post I'm not sure if I want to put up a link to the rest of the photos.

We're talking about getting rid of the 85 project.  As for storage room, 2 are at his work and the other will go near our house.  The only major thing wrong with the car is the rear frame rails, and they're being ordered on Friday.  We would rather have cars that need to be worked on rather than have something "warm and cushy".  To us that's pointless.  There isn't any better joy than getting them at their worst and bringing them back to life.

Here's the link to the rest of the pics for those who enjoy the art of restoration.

the 85 is dead (it's going up for sale)!!!!!! i would rather do the 67 and 70 . i've done to many fox bodies as late. i've done cars a heck of alot worse than the 70 besides how many 70 verts are on the road nowadays

I agree with you. Saving a Mustang from death is much more gratifying than buying one already restored especially if it was not done the right way. With yours you know what to expect. Did you find it on Ebay? I see their logo on the photos.
