5.0 Conversion
« on: September 16, 2009, 10:30:43 AM »
Hi,
I am hoping someone can help me.  I am swapping a 4 cyl 1979 Mustnag with a 5.0 engine.  I am going to do aftermarket control arms.  I have an 8.8 rear.  I have brakes form an 89 5.0 and spindles.  I have the sway bar from a 5.0.  I was planning to leave the suspension the stock 4 cyl suspension though.  From what I have found it will jsut lower the car a bit and it seems like there are many people who do this.  I wanted to get opinions though and see if anyone thinks it would be dangerous or handle badly. It is going to be a toy.  Car I drive for fun in the summer.  Street/strip setup.  Any pointers or info would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks for your time.  Jeff
