WTB 96-98 4V Cobra “B” heads
« on: April 11, 2010, 03:36:34 AM »
I am looking for a set of 96-98 Cobra “B” heads complete w/ valves, springs, retainers, seals and keepers, if Mark VIII heads what year. Also I am looking for a set of IMRC delete plates, billet not OEM modified w/ epoxy. I will take the cams if the heads are complete but don’t need them and preferably not ported heads. Thanks in advance for the reply.

You must be confused i am looking for a set of stock 96-98 cobra heads, this is a 4V DOHC head, not a push rod motor set of heads

No, I'm not confused.  The  GT 40  heads are what you are asking for.

You are very confused, there are no GT 40 heads that are OHC, or for that matter my motor is a DOHC motor. Since 1996 Ford has put only modular motors in Mustangs and Cobras (4.6 L 2V and 4V). There are no more 5.0L motors, except for the new cammer 5.0L motor that is coming out in 2011. I have never seen anyone put a pushrod head on an OHC or DOHC motor. If you know how to do that you are a “BAD MOFO. Thanks for your reply and concern, but I will handle it from here. Peace.
