This Mustang is a real beauty and was featured in many car magazines. I even posted a picture of it a while ago.

When people say classic cars loose their value when they are modified, this proves to be wrong if it's done with good taste.
Here is the link to the auction on Ebay

The builders of that Mustang just presented their latest creation. Let's see how much this one will be sold.

That's no longer a Mustang.   It is a bastard.  If the original configuration and parts have been updated to modern standards, or if the body and mechanics have been altered so much that it no longer looks or drives like the original Mustang from that year, then it is a bastard and in my opinion no longer considered a classic Mustang.

Sorry, but I don't.  First of all it is priced out of the ordinary Mustang owner's price range, and Mustangs should never be priced in the range of the Europeran classics.  A Classic Mustang should be a blue collar  owner's classic car.  It's an American made in Detroit mass produced car, and should never be misrepresented as an expensive classic that the ordinary blue collar man or woman can't own because of the extreme price.

i have to agree with soaring. it may be nice and fast but the mustang was originally built as the "poor man's" sports car. the old shelbys and mach 1's and some of those cars are worth some of the prices they ask for because they have a lot of original parts. i would have to say i would never pay over $1,000,000 for a classic mustang.

I would never paying over 50 K for any Mustang no matter what it is.
This whole Barrett Jackson thing is just a travesty to the classic Mustang.

I agree Martha.  Why fuck up a great classic design from the factory with one of these bastards?  It just doesn't make any sense to me.

I may not understand your politics, but you just hit it on the head.  These auctions have blown car prices right out of the water.  You and I cannot collect classics because they are priced well beyond their worth.

Well, we can still collect classic Mustangs, but we red necks can only afford rust buckets that we have to bleed real blood to bring back to life.  I have come to realize that my 65 coupe is the only classic I will ever own.  Hell, even I couldn't afford my own car if it was for sale.
