WTB "Baby Moon" or mirror headlights
« on: February 20, 2010, 03:03:34 PM »
Does anyone have or know where I can find the old school "baby moon" headlights or mirror headlights for a 65 Mustang?  I appreciate your help.

Are you talking about the headlights that were put on '32 Ford Roadsters?  Good luck finding them for a 65 Mustang.  I can't imagine how you would mount them.  They are quite a bit bigger than the mustang's.   Sorry, but I can't help you.

No.  I think I found them.  They are called "half shields".  They fit over the top half of your headlight and gives that mirror headlight appearance.

Oh, OK.  I have seen them in my youth.  You just add the shield to your existing headlights.  Glad you found them, and hope they work out for you.  Where did you find them?

Trans-dapt performance or Mr. Gasket or Summit carries them.  I hope they are the same thing and not the mirror "eyebrow" type that stick straight out (like a bill on a cap)

Call Summitt and ask them.  I love that front plate.  "Honk if parts fall off."  ;D

Where did you find them? I wanted to know if this really fit in your car, can you post some pics? Have you mounted the headlight in your car?
