Thinking of purchasing slicks for when i go to the track again...

What would be the best for the price or recommendations??

Jegs has both.  You may have to tub the rear to get those real slicks to fit though.  And, you may have to change the axle to get them to fit because of the backspacing.  You realize you need one strong rear end to handle them without twisting apart, don't you?  If you don't have a modified rear with special torshion bars, etc, that you will be doing some serious damage.  Speed costs a lot of money.

Yeah like glen said you will need traction bars at least to keep the rear end attached to the car ;D
