What mod next

<< < (2/2)

My Mustang comes with an 8.8 inch rear end so I'd go for at least that, but a lot of guys like to go 9". From what I've heard a 7.5 won't hold much. Your motor should not blow up from exceeding 4500. As long as you are on top of your oil changes, there's no engine damage and such, then it should be just fine to the redline. On the other hand those motors were built for low end torque (stock anyway) so if it doesn't seem to go much faster at higher rpms, then why go there? When you get your new rear end definately get more aggressive gears. My car has 3.55s but 3.73s will be much better and a lot of people like 4.11s.
