well I decided to take all the carpet out to see how much rust on thye floors , mostly it was surface rust but there was 1 hole :-x . I also found something  the could be of value under the carpet. The origanl bag for paper work. Inside was the warrenty tag,battery tag ,maintence schedules and emission stsyems sheet and the best of all theconsumer information sheet. i have never seen one before.
it show slow and high speed pass ,braking, 60 -0 stopping info well here is the pics of the floors and the bag of goodies

Very interesting find. It's surprising someone placed this bag and papers under the carpet and that it stayed in that good shape for so long. Did you get any information you didn't know about your Mustang?
The floor looks very good and you should have no problem to patch that small hole.

I know that my wife bought it from the origanal owner. we even have the origanl plastic key chain, and lisence plate tag from were it was purchaced from the dealer in  ST Helana California. there is only one good body paper ,the other is what caused the rust Im sure

Nice man. I will have to get a photo of a rusty floor.  We bought the son a 79 TA and it had more rust then I seen when I got it.

Wow Bro I thought that I had alot of orginial records but you got me beat and that was a dam nice find. The rust don't look bad at all and that little whole is nothing man I am sure you sill have it fixed in no time. STANG OUT
