Topic: Unknown clip

Hi there,

I have a 66 Mustang Coupe which has been recently restored. Last week, I discovered a small clip (4cm approx) sitting on the drivers mat which has obviously come off something on that side (LH). I was thinking it may have come off the brake pedal as it was sitting right under the pedal, but haven't been able to see anything missing when I look up there.

Does anyone recognise this clip (photo attached) or have any idea where it may have come from ?

The break peddle and the clutch peddle have clips like this. Under dash, the peddles go threw rods that go to master cylinder or clutch arm.
