That is a very good point and there is a lot of truth in that. I unfortanly will not be able to keep in a garage for much longer in Kansas, and I cannot bring it here, for the fact that it there are no good places to store it and the weather here suck @ss.
As far as the MOS I will still be a 19D, unlike most MOS's I still get to train 19D as a Drill Sergeant, but when my time here is done I will hav to go right back to Iraq, or Afgan. Which that doesnt bother me I already have to Deployments and would like to get a few more before that option is over. The problem I see is after 15 months in Combat I will have to go to Korea or Alaska, so my future with the car is looking slow as best. I still dont want to get rid of her but cannot stand to see pics and not be able to do anything I want to it because of lack of time.
About the wife, she as first did take it as a slap in the face but she understands the fact that the car even being as good as it was timing wasnt. There are things I love about the Military but then again it takes alot of tiem from elsewhere, not only the car but family, and that is what sucks. So with the limited time I have I feel it would be better spent with my two daughters showing them how to ride bike rather than fixing my car. That might sound dumb to some but I know that car with bring joy to another and maybe that is better for both parties.
I am still running into problem with people wanting to buy it. Not the fact of people getting a hold of me, but people think the price is too high. I added up the miles i put on her since I got it in may of 05, it was a total of 200 miles that is it. I have spent every mintue possible as most of you know on this car when I am with her, but cannot even get a chance to go home for the next two years.
Who knows what will happen but keep the info going please
