Speakers and Package Tray
« on: October 06, 2011, 07:52:42 PM »
I'm working on a "67 coupe. Bought a package tray with speaker wholes precut. When I look at installing the tray there are braces in the center of the whole. Is it a good idea to cut out brases, or do I just take it on the chin and get another package tray.

If your goal for the coupe is a concours restoration buy another tray, otherwise, just cut the braces.

Thank you for the advice. I don't think the car is going to be remotly close to a concourse, just a daily driver. OK may be weekly with the price of gas....LOL But thank you the same
