the car lot i got my 01 red stang from now has the one i have been looking for. its a yellow 5 speed rag top the only problem with the car is the front bumper needs to repainted and its a 98 If i do trade for it he will fix the bumper 1st. the 01 is red standard and the air bags are busted. i know all i have to do is pull up in the red one and leave with the yellow one cause im good friends with the owner of the lot. I had him looking for me the yellow one for about 3 months but all he could find was a red one and he had then. well i drove the red one went back and filled out the paper work cause i fell in love again. I love my 01 dont get me wrong but the yellow one is the one i have wanted for years. i know i could paint the red one yellow but thats not the same. i talked it over with my wife and she told me it was up to me on what i wanted to do cause its my car (she owns the 87 stang we have) i know the 98 would be cheaper and could lower the car payment or could pay more to get it paid off faster. my question to my fellow stang owers is this what would you do if you were in my shoes!!!!!!!!! and even if you dont own a stang please please please give me some input here i dont know what to do?  :-o  :-o  :-o

We can't choose for you but if the yellow one will help you save money and if it's more to your taste why not doing it?
One thing is sure, painting your red Mustang yellow will look awfull if you don't strip it completely before and that would cost a lot of money.

Yeah i know!!! i made up my mind im going to stick with the one i got now. i know i love the yellow but when i test drove it today something told me to keep the red one so i talked to the wife and she said keep it as well. I will just strip mine to the metal and primer and paint it later on down the road. I know this car runs good that i have now and dont want to risk getting something i have to work on
