It looks like a 1965/66 Shelby but they didn't come with a coupe body so what is it?

I'm looking for nothing, I know this car, but it as something special. Yes it is a Shelby look, but the characteristic is elsewhere. No idea ?

Do you know the story of this Pick up Mustang?
I saw once a story about pick-up Mustangs built in the 60's from new cars. Is it one of them?

This is a little story about the Mustang pickup, in french. Thank you Thierry for translating. :-D
This pick up is owned by Dennis, the President of Mustangpassion France. This one was created in Swizerland some years ago, in the same spirit of original "Mustero".

Thank you Rouge67 for this great story. Here is the translation:

In 1965, the "Beverly Hills Mustang" (company wich later partnered with Caroll Shelby to produce the 12 Shelby continuation in the late 70's) and their boss J.Brunk (the same person who created the Shelby covertibles) received the authorisation from Ford Motor Company the right to transform about fifty new Mustang coupes into Pick-ups modifying the engines and suspension depending of the desires of the future customers.
The cost of the transformation was extremely expensive (US$6500 ! the price of a Shelby Cobra !). Despite of that the project started and named the « Mustero », contraction of « Mustang » and « Ranchero ». We don't really know haw many "Mustero" were built at that time. But on the surviving « Musteros » we can notice that the end of the roof and the rear window have been saved as well as the tailight pannel, lights and fuel tank cover. We can also notice the chrome bars surrounding the bed.
This pick up is owned by Dennis, the President of the Mustangpassion France club. This one was created in Swizerland some years ago, in the same spirit of original "Mustero".
