Restoration Challenge
« on: July 27, 2009, 05:30:19 PM »
I would like to thank all of the people that voted for my car in the previous rounds.  Thanks to you I'm in the finals.

It's now just my 69 Mustang CJ against a Yanko Camaro clone.

Now more than ever I need your help.  I would greatly appreciate any votes you can make for my restoration or any one you can send to the site to vote for my car.

If I did this right here is a pic of the restored Car.  It's not totaly done yet but it sure looks a lot better than it did a few years ago.

And here is a link to go register and vote.  The voting ends midnight Sunday (eastern).

Thanks   Jim

Well that's a bummer on the email thing.  I wonder why it doesn't like hotmail?

Oh well thanks for trying.

If those are wool covers on your seats, you might consider taking them off for show.

Not wool.

Those are the original Comfort Weave seats.

I was going to vote but their site doesn't accept registrations from Canada. Sorry.

That's strange on the Canada address.  One friend of mine said she couldn't vote from Canada and another guy said he could.

But then I've seen a few other oddities dealing with that website.

Thanks for trying anyway.

OK, so you have the original parchment interior.  Cool beans.

But they are starting to show their age.  I'm probably going to have to replace them this winter.

Now a plug for my competition.

I'm behind in the Restoration Challenge.  Hate to think I'm going to lose to a Chevy clone.

Spread the word.  I need all the votes I can get.

And thanks to all of you that have already voted.
