question about the interior on my car

i have a 1965 red convertable mustang with red and black two tone seats.  the inner pannel is black and the rim is red.  according to the people whom i purchase the car from this was the original factory seats. some have told me that there is no way that they are.  could you get these seats in 65?

It could be a special order and it's not because we have never seen it in other cars that it didn't exist. If you still have the VIN tag number in the driver door it will tell you it's original trim colors. If the trim code is unknown then you may have a very rare Mustang
