Topic: Please help!

I have a 1969 Mustang convertible.  My 69 Mustang currently has a 302 engine.  It was removed from a 1986 Mustang, and it has a 3 speed manual transmission. I also have a T5 tranmission from a 1986 Mustang and would like to replace the transmission I currently have with this one.  My question is:  What parts do I need and can I use any existing parts from the transmission that I am removing.  I need to stay on a budget to complete this mission.

This is impossible to do under the constraints of a 'budget'. It will always cost more than you think. Go to http://www.mustangsplus.com/ which has all the items you need and the experience to do the task.

check out www.mustangsteve.com here has some of the conversion parts you need to accomplish this swap, since you have the tranny already figure it will cost 1k to be on the safe side of the estimate
