Topic: negative lead on battery on 1969 mustang

Rebuilt a 1969 mustang and took pics of every stage of teardown.

Forgot to take picture of where negative lead bolts to frame.

Can anyone give me the location.

Would like it to be the original location.

First of all Fred, welcome to our site.  The negative cable from the battery does not hook up to the frame, but instead to the block.  Look just below the #1 plug which is on the passenger side front, and you will see the threaded hole where it goes.

Here is some old picture of my 302, where you can see the Neg wire on the block.

Of course, if you painted the engine, remove all traces of paint in that place!
