Not my fault - really...
I did NOT want to drive one (as I was afraid I'd like it tooooooo much), but a friend was taking a 5.0 coupe out for a test, dropped by and threw me the keys.
OK, since it came to me, I couldn't say no.
In a word - WOW.
The power, the 6 speed, the seats, the traction, the handling and acceleration in ANY gear.
The next week me and wife were out for a cruise in my 2003 GT vert and I mentioned how much I enjoyed that new 5.0 and am on the fence.
(I was debating on the hard top)where she mentioned she likes us having a vert.
OK then, guess my debate is over; must find out the price for a vert...
I'm on the last couple days of a 2 week vacation; had intentions of building a shed, painting the deck etc etc.
The 1st week off consisted of my parents coming over spending a few days, then me travelling back and forth to a Ford dealership to talk #s on a trade. (the local Ford dealership was not interested at all in my vert and was trying to get it for next to nothing - their #s did NOT work)

My former zinc vert was driven home by someone later on that day.
had 26 kms when I saw it & the only one to test drive it. Guess the dealership noticed the gleam in my eye. She was put 'away' until I drove her home.

Oh ya and the shed floor, walls were completed and I am building the roof today. (painting the deck will be some other w/e.)
