1965 mustang coupe--original color silver smoke grey.now painted yellow---needs paint and bucket seats upolstered.how important value wise is it to keep exterior paint and upolstery the same as the numbers called for How popular a color was silver smoke grey and would you upgrade from the standard black interior to the pony interior.Also is there any site where you can look up how many 65 coupes we're painted a certain factoy color?Which color in 65 do you think was the most popular?THANKS

hey bro here is a site that you can fine out just about anything about your car. I would keep the interior the same if the numbers match that would keep the value up there and as soon as you changed it you take a chance of lossing alot of value but it is your choice.www.links.vintage-mustang.com .
