lead additive
« on: May 06, 2013, 04:28:26 PM »
I have a '68 automatic 289. Should I add a lead additive to my gasoline?  If so, how much and how often?

I use unleaded in my 66 and haven't had any issues. Depends on how much and hard you drive it. I use ours as a weekend cruiser. . . . PS: if you tear it down for engine work have hardened exhaust valve seats put in.
