help on getting cd player out.

(1/1)

dylanmassengill:
in my 2003 mustang gt i have the 6 disc cd changer in it and it will not eject or play cd's. i want to take it out and see it if i can fix it but i need help figuring out how to get the panel around it off. it seems like it should just pop off but it feels like it is going to break how should i get it off?

Soaring:
Take that CD changer to a car stereo service center.  It is obvious you haven't a clue as to what to do, and neither do any of us I presume.  Sometimes you have to spend money to save money.  If you break it, it will cost you a lot more than to have the pros do it in the first place.

well we finally got it out and it did just snap out, but unfortunately we didnt get the cd player fixed.

Soaring:
You just wasted a lot of your time.   ;D  My father-in law- asked me to fix his DVD player because it didn't want to turn, so I put some 3-in-one oil on the axle  and it started working, but that was just a shot in the dark.  I was lucky.  Usually, with these electronic devices, you need to take them to a pro.

dylanmassengill:
yeah thats probably what i am going to do. What was wrong with the cd player is there was a broken cd in it and first of all it made everything lopsided and i also think it burnt the motor up inside the cd player...
