Help me choose a mustang...
« on: January 26, 2009, 09:16:29 AM »
Hello,

I'v always wanted some American muscle. Fell in love with a mustang recently....

Anyway I have the opportunity to get either a 95k 5 speed, '01 white GT for 6 grand or a Red Cobra '99 for 5450 with like 84k miles.

I think the cobra is a better deal but I think red is a girly color. I really wanted a shiny midnight black or something. What do you guys think?

The Cobra is obviously the best buy.  Personally, I love red on a Mustang.  It makes them look mean.

Red looks real mean on Mustangs. I'd check out that Cobra. Sounds like a deal if it is in good shape. Just check it out good.

Any color will get you a ticket if you are actually speeding.  I have never had a speeding ticket, and my Mach is obviously red.

white cars actually have a higher rate of tickets. but there are a lot more white cars on the road.

and how is red girly :P both of my stangs are red lol. red is the color of blood and war and is actually very manly. pink was originally too, you originally wore pink if you couldnt afford red but thats been 100's and 100's of years ago

If possible, drive a nondescript vehicle. It may not be fair, but it's human nature to notice things that stand out from the crowd. Bright-colored cars, those with loud exhaust or other pimped-out enhancements are the cars more likely to draw a cop's initial attention than ordinary-looking, family-type cars. Since the cop has to single out one car, which car do you suppose is the likely candidate for a speeding ticket? The bright yellow Mustang GT with 20-inch chrome rims? Or the silver Taurus?

If you do get pulled over while driving a fancy, high-profile car, your odds of getting a speeding ticket versus a warning have probably gone up. If you're driving a fast-looking hot rod, the cop is going to assume you use it and deserve a ticket more than the guy in a family-looking ride whose plea that he "didn't realize he was speeding, officer" comes off as more believable.

Now days you have to take your prior driving record into consideration. If you get pulled over and you have never had a ticket in your life and you were going 11 miles over you will likely get a warning. If youve had several tickets and a couple of DUI's you aint gonna catch any breaks in fact be prepaird to give a feild sobriety test eveytime you get stopped. If you've had a history of drug convection of any kind you car will be searched every time you get pulled over. Theyll bring in a dog or whatever. Cops have wirless connections on that laptop in the car. They look at your history sometimes before you even talk to them they just pull up you from the plate.

In New Jersey only indictable offenses and current suspensions and warrants show up on police computers. A DUI is a civil offense in NJ that is why one does not get a jury trial.

“I didn’t even know there was an organization that did this,” she said, twirling in front of a mirror as she gazed at her reflection and ran her hand over the delicate folds of fabric that transform her into a bride. “It feels like a princess.”
Listening to Pepper Periquet Guanio talk about flowy wedding dresses made me want to purchase one even if I wasn’t a bride-to-be in search of one. Her passion for bridal gowns is infectious and she has a mission to find the ideal wedding gown for every woman about to marry; she believes, just like the groom, that there is the perfect wedding gown to match each and every bride.

She and her team still have to deal from time to time with traditional and conservative mindsets that have come to represent most Filipino weddings. Some brides come looking for packages that include the cinderella wedding dresses 2011 of the entourage, thinking that this is how things must be done. They are also under the impression that it is a less expensive option to purchase gowns separately. But when Pepper sits down with them and suggests that they break down the cost, they realize that the bulk of the package price often goes to the entourage and not to the bride’s gown. When they learn this, they become more receptive to Mi Sueño’s approach. Some brides also find it less intimidating to go to bridal boutiques than to well-known designers because they are free to browse through the available choices and ask questions comfortably. Besides, how many women have easy access to local fashion designers?

A Bright, Rosy Future

A fusion of the iridescence and seraphic beauty of nocturnal butterflies and the dazzling lights of the circus are the designer’s inspiration for her 2012 bridal collection. The collection includes celestial silk tulles, billowing layers of cascading silk chiffon and draped gleaming satins. Exquisite French lace embellished with translucent crystal detailed embroidery catch the light. Her gowns feature balletic silhouettes and romantically sculpted corsetry sprinkled with Swarovski jewels. Luxurious and opulent champagne silvers, delicate golds, soft ivories and glamorous whites paint the collection.

It seems like impending motherhood has softened Beyonce's stance toward letting us in on her personal life. She hasn't kept her pregnancy a secret — and it seems like every person in her life has something to say about the maybe-baby girl.

We're getting even more in her new video for "I Was Here" — her mermaid wedding dresses! Beyonce shows off the one-shoulder wedding dresses she wore when she married Jay-Z nearly three years ago in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it clip. The emotional song captures Queen B’s life since she started performing as a pre-teen.

"I wanna say I lived each day until I die," she sings in the song. It looks like she has, judging from the countless photos and video of her with everyone from South African leader Nelson Mandela to Michael Jackson and Barack Obama.

But back to the halter wedding dresses. The white strapless gown is pretty much exactly what we envisioned the pop princess wearing on her big day. She looked just as happy as we imagined, though.

Beyonce has featured Bridal Gowns a lot lately in her music videos. She played the part of a happy bride in the video for her recent song, "Best Thing I Never Had." She told Access Hollywood at the time that her own wedding was a lot less stressful than filming the fake one for the cameras.

"This may have been a little more crazy. I had to sing at the same time," she joked to the entertainment program.

DUIi's are jury trial offenses in Texas.  I was the jury spokesperson for a DUI one time back in the early 80's.  We found the man innocent because the stupid cop did not give the man a field sobriety test.  Dumb ass cop.  There was no proof the man had been drinking that the jury could buy into.  Sure, there was the walk the line thing test that the dumbassed cops do, but folks on medication sometimes cannot do that.  I rest my case.

When the limit in New Jersey was .01 I blew a .009 and was found guilty by a judge. Why? The expert testimony of the arresting officer. Yes I had a lawyer. He subpoena the tape they made of me at the station and LE sad it did not exist as it did not show what they wanted.

Sorry for the Hi-Jack.

I'd have to go with the younger ford model. 8 years is a big difference And Red is mean not girly.

Take them both for a spin maybe the car will decide for you.

to me it depends on what color red it is and what type of rims it has on it. but id go with the cobra becuz it is a better mustang and you can always paint it if you don't like it.
