I have a 1965 coupe and my fuel gauge is giving me problems. At first the fuel gauge would not work at all. I found out that the gauge had voltage going in but not comming out. I have replaced the fuel gauge, sending unit and the voltage regulator on the back and this is what the gauge is doing now. The instrument panel can be taken out of the dash and the gauge will go to fuel, when the instrument panel is put back into the dash it go's back to empty. :-?
