Only 13? Wow, you are starting out young. What ever you do, make sure you keep the Fastback. You will really regreat it if you sell it down the road. Your first car and a Fastback at that. Good luck with your project.

yea I was thinkin about selling it when I first got it but then I realized that it wasn't gonna be that bad and I just started to tear it down

My feeling exactly on keeping the fastback. I bought mine new and sold it after we started raising our family. Lucky to keep in touch with the guy I sold it to and bought it back 29 years later. . . . PS: you're never to young to start and learn as much as you can from your dad. . .  8)

Like Joe said, when you have a family-they do come first. But Joe was lucky and if at all possible, keep the Fastback. Again, have fun with the car and working with your Dad.
