Looks like a 289 or 302.

  • Mustang: 1965 coupe 289, and 2003 Mach1
  • Daily driver: '03 Ford F-150 Lariat

If that's the original engine, it would be a 289.  The 302's didn't come out until the latter part of '68.

My 67 had a 289 with a three speed when i bought it and it was the original engine and tranny.  So if its original it will be a 289.
