Hi All,
Is there anyone on here from Northern France?
A group of us from UK are travelling across to France on 20th March 2010 and would love any Mustang Owners in Nothern France to join us. There will be 23 Mustangs and  Thunderbird ttavelling from Calais to Soissons and Reims.

I am south of Paris therefore not easy to get around the north .........

Why don"t we create a meeting point somewhere on your journey? Did you have a date & a planified road of your trip ?

May be we can meet each other, in "Denain", we have a Mustang Room & Bar and a great parking lot there .. ( see it in google map : )

The best way to reach Soissons :
From Calais to Amiens with A16
From Amiens to Peronne (Museum of the Great War)
From Peronne to Soissons by Saint Quentin

This Region is well deserved by 2 Motorway (A16, A29) and a quick link to A1 (LILLE - PARIS) by ROYE

It depends on what you want to see and do in north of France.

Welcome to the site.  Your information will be invaluable to those traveling to France and Belgium.  I lived in Herforst, Germany for several years and traveled on all those roads you mentioned.  It is wonderful part of our world, and sites that must be seen.   'Especially if you are driving a Mustang.

Sorry fo such a late response but I have been in hospital and also trying to plan the route.
We are arriving at Calais via the tunnel at about 11am your time on Saturday 20th March 2010.
I will double check and post all the details in a day or two.
We will also be stopping at a monument and then on to Denain for 2pm and then onto Chateau Ermenonville where we are spending the night.
WE will then take some fantastic photos in the grounds of the Chateau and then on to the old F1 racetrack road just outside Reims.
The return journey to Calais has not been finalised yet depending on sunshine or rain.

If anyone would like to meet us at any of the stopping points that will be fantastic.
It will be great to link up with you all,

So if you are in Texas maybe  can plan a trip there in September October - - but I wont have my car with me and will have to hire something.

Our great state's name was originally Tejas, but that is the Spanish spelling.  Since 1836 until 1856  we became a nation of our own and the Spanish name Tejas means "FRIENDLY", and we are certainly that.  You are welcome in my home and here in central Texas anytime.   We'll get you a cowboy hat and a pair of boots and put you on a horse and turn you loose.
Don't worry about hiring a car, I'll pick you up at the airport and let you drive my Mustangs.

That will be great and I am sure he will spot us at the tunnel as we will have our own lane when coming out.

Has anyone heard from Exxodus recently??
We were going to go to the Mustang Bar at Denain but I have not heard from him for a while and no response to my messages. Is he away with work or on Vacation?? Does anyone know??

I guess you found the right topic in his forum. In a message posted yesterday, Exxodus told everyone to hurry up to finalize everything so he can let you know what is going on.

I need him to email me as the guys organising the trip need to work out times and distance etc so please ask Exxodus to email me his private email address.

How long will it take to drive from Calais to arras and from Arras to Denain?
I have asked Exxodus a few times but still no response.
