Sorry Thierry,
I was at work and could not access the full page so could not see that you were in Canada
Must have had my blonde head on!!

I have checked it on Google but someone said it was too far from Calais, I thought we were on a Cruise/ driving trip so did not think 100 miles was tooooo far!!!

I am sure we will work it out.

I lived in South Africa for 24 years and when I was leaving I applied for residency to Canada. I was accepted but came back to visit friends and family on the way through, had a bad accident and am still in UK 10 years later!!!

I will get out there again one day soon I hope

Have you seen a large increase in South Africans in Canada?

Thierry:
From what Google says, it's about 1:36 h from Calais, it might be too far for some of us but it would be a nice drive. ;D

I never met any South African yet in Canada but I live in a small community so it doesn't mean anything.

I was in South Africa when I was 4 years old before my family and I went to live in Australia but I can't remember anything. Did you like it there? All I know is that my parents were shocked to see white people and black people traveling separated in the buses. It was in 1969 and I hope it changed since then :D

Yes it has changed since then but it became very dangerous and that is why I left. Got fed up of having to carry a gun all day long, look over my shoulder and have guard dogs and bars at the windows. Beautiful country but not a way to live.

I could never of had a Mustang or Thunderbird in South Africa. It would have been damaged on day 1. and the soft top would have been slashed and the leather seats destroyed or removed!!!!

England has it's own problems but at least I am safe and can enjoy my cars

Thierry:
Too bad South Africa didn't evolve better with time. I thought Nelson Mandela would change a lot in the country after he came into power but it seems, there is still a lot to do. ???

Someone said there will be members from the Mustang Passion club for sure to receive you in Calais and you will probably receive an update from them by tomorrow. ;)
