68 mustang with original 351 windsor?

Sparky72:
Can someone tell me if this is possible?

66GTKFB:
As a factory car - no. I know of several owners that have installed 351C and 351W engines in either 67 or 68 Mustangs as they "fit" well.

Mid year '68, Ford came out with the 351.  Check the VIN to see when it was built.

Boss351Dude:
If you have a 351W in your 68, Ford wants it back!

No, he has a 351W in what commonly was put in 69's which was built in the later part of 1968, but Ford may have put them in the later part of 68 as well.  That was the time when Ford had 302's as well as the 351's.  That is also the time the 289's were being phased out.  Again, the build date will determine.
