Topic: 1973 Mustang Pinion Seal?????????

I have a 73 Mustang. It has 351 Cleveland. The rear pinion seal is leaking in the driveway. I called the auto store and they wanted to know if it was a 8 inch or 9 inch. It has 2:75 gears. Is their a way to measure this to get the right new gasket? Thanks jemoore

Yeah, it's an 8".  The 9's were in the K codes and the later models.
