Hello everyone,

Im new to the forums, first post. Im in the market for replacement Driver/Passenger seats for my 1965 Mustang. I am looking for seats that have a headrest...unlike the originals. So any type of seat that will fit the Mustang...whether it be racing seats, seats modeled after the vintage stock ones but with headrests or any other suggestions. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for all your help!

CJ Pony Parts (1-800-888-6473) has what they call a Procar Rally series seat with the headrest. They come in all vinyl, or vinyl with velour inserts. You will need to get their seat track adapters also.
Also, give thought to going with Ricarro seats. They are very expensive, but well worth the bucks if you have deep pockets.

if you want to keep an original look you can always add the reproduction headrests that fit on your OEM seats

I thought for some reason they did, but then again i don't know too much about the 60s models.

Nah, the back/neck rests started with the 67 models, but they weren't much. It wasn't until the 68 models that you saw real head rests built into the seats. After that, they were standard.
