'65 Fastback at painters-HOME, now waiting for upholstery!

FASTBACK65GT:
Another day or two and she'll be ready to take to the painters!
I've told you before it's a "10-footer", so hopefully they'll get it all corrected and she'll be like new soon.  I'm going to add the shelby stripes in red and get the correct '65 Deluxe interior in it once repainted.  Then, by spring 2010 it will be ready for cruising and look like the below photo.  I can't wait!

Same color I presume?  She'll be a beauty when it is painted.  You will find that refurbishing the interior is a relatively easy job doing it yourself.  The only thing I would have farmed out would be the headliner if you decide to replace that.

rmodel65:
make sure to do the interior after paint so the new stuff doesnt stink lol

Oh for sure.  If you notice in the pics the entire inside is gutted.

Well she left for the painters today!

Anyone looking for some MUSTANG GT 3-spoke style wheels, let me know!

BlackShadow:
Reminds me of taking my car to the painter.  I'm very partial to black myself should look great when done.. :)
