dim dash lights

Hi,all i have a problem with my dash lights which are very dim .I changed all the bulbs and put in brighter bulbs and looked at a 71 torino and a 73 mustang and they had the same problem anyone know how to get dash any brighter.thanks

The resistance of your wiring might be too high. Try to check all connections in your dashboard from the power supply to the light bulbs to see if there is any corrosion. How is the rest of your electrical system?

the wiring looks fine but the other cars i saw had this problem too.
