Well, Im new here for one.. Hi everyone

.. but down to the point.. I bought my 1985 Mustang Cobra with its stock Premium sound system and wanted better sound. I put in a kenwood deck as well as a 10" sub and TMA amp (just wanted better sound than the stock system), and right about then the problem arose. My dome/map lights, gas lid popper, and door buzzer fuse (Number 8 Fuse, 15A) blows when you try to put one in. This stops as soon as you unplug the deck (The Amp and sub are not hooked up at this time). Me and my father backtracked to the point where we tested the stock wiring harness and it was still getting power when it wasnt supposed to (thought id add in that I have removed the stock premium sound amp and the wiring harness for it, leading to the deck..didnt think itd be of use anymore). We tested the battery cables to find with the continuity tester that there was a circuit made through the positive to the negative, with the positve off the battery post. So, this isnt good, we were suprised there hasnt been a fire yet. My father thinks this might be normal to have the power constantly through the body, since its only 3 milliamps, but was wondering if this is true. If not, any suggestions on where to start unplugging or where to look would be helpful, we have determined the possible dead short is before the fuse box, but who knows.
