Hey I have a 2:75 and I want to get atleast 3:50 and I heard that there are tricks to get it that way but need some help. If there is a place to go and get a good gear let me know.STANG OUT

richmand makes the mest gears. personally Iwould go with 355 gears, but it also depends on you tire size.

see that is the thing bro I don't know what to go with but I know a 2:75 is way to small just want something that is alittle faster off the line and I want to get some rims and tires not sure what yet looking for the best deal.STANG OUT

Unless your engine is built to handle 3.50:1 gears you'll be sorry. If it's a box stock 289 you would be happier with a set of 3.00:1. They won't kill your gas mileage...but you will get a little better off-the-line performance. Summit Racing will get you a complete package with bearings and crush sleeve. Thumbs up for the Richmond gear sets...and good luck with your speedo after you change them.

Thanks for posting Don.  This thread is a couple of years + old, and I doubt you will get an answer.  Just look at the top of each poster's reply and you will see the date of March 2006.
