Wheels for a 67'
« on: April 18, 2009, 01:26:19 PM »
I have looked at several sites and catalogs but can't find a set of wheels that I like, need some help locating a house that specializes in era wheels for my car. Want to keep them within the late 60's-early 70's but not necessarily styles offered in 1967. Or if I have to, some other styles that will look good and not take away from the classic lines of my car.

Thanks,

JJ

Mustang plus - 800-999-4289
CJ Pony Parts - 800-888-6473
National Parts Depot\
800-368-0900

Texas Mustang - 800-527-1588

To name a few.
The best looking wheels from that era are the Styled Steel, Magnum 500 and the younger guys like Torque Thrusts.  What you need are some catalogs.  Give those guys a call and order your free catalogs.

You really dont need to order out of catalogs. Any major tire store can get you any wheel you want. I found that out when I got the wheels for my mach I I was all set to order out of one them and I happened to ask a local company and the had them. There is allot of advantage to getting them local.

That may be true, but with the catalogs you get pics of what you will be ordering.  Tire stores don't usually have the pics.

take the catalog to the tire store. When I picked the wheels for my car I thought it through carfully. I had ordered wheels for it already that I didnt like. Its important to know exactly what you want. Tire stores can even order them in usually so you can look at them. I got to see the tire I was buying and the wheel just to make sure it was what I wanted before they went on the car. Thats were the advantage is.

Agreed.  But, you have to have the catalog to take to the tire store.  Duhh.
