Transmission leak
« on: August 20, 2012, 05:59:23 PM »
I have a C4 and it is leaking from the area of the shift shaft on the side of the transmission, has anyone out there ever changed the seal and can give me instructions on how to change myself or a site to view?

Thanks in advance
Jeff

There's a great Ford transmission site at http://www.network54.com/Forum/260730/.  You can search it (as I did) for "shifter shaft seal leak" and look at the results.  Here's one of them

VB = "valve body"
