Soaring, keep in mind that our 71-73 Clydesdales weigh in at 3600+ pounds depending on options.  With big horsepower the 200 pound rate springs don't wrap up and allow wheel hop as easily and are a good way to avoid the additional cost of underride traction bars.

And you can buy them with a mid eye to lower the back to standard ride height.
OK, yeah I forgot you guys are carrying a little more weight than I am with my little 65, so maybe the 5 leaves isn't such a bad idea afterall for you guys.   You can also run fatter and taller tires than I can.  But, the original poster wasn't asking about 71-73 Mustangs.  He has a 65.

Nope Tim 175 was the original poster and I saw his car in primer and I am pretty sure the 71 Mach 1 body wasn't released in 65 LOL
